Allergy Testing

What is allergy testing?

Allergy Testing is something that you can have to determine if you are allergic or intolerant to something. This could be certain foods, drinks, E Numbers, animal hairs, odours or gases. The common tests performed are simple forms of muscle testing known as Kinesiology and the Vegatest which is an electromagnetic instrument. Both of these methods have been shown in practice to be extremely effective and accurate.

The preferred option for many individuals is Kinesiology for the following reasons:

  • Simpler to use and causes no discomfort
  • Can be used with children, infants and the elderly
  • It is possible through this method to identify all of your allergens.

What is an allergy?

Allergic symptoms can be triggered due to a high level of stress, however there is also likely to be an inherited malfunction of the immune system. Both of these factors will play their part in development of the problem.

Severity of the symptoms can increase or decrease depending on your stress levels at the time the allergy occurs.

Common symptoms can appear in the following areas of the body:

  • Skin
  • Eyes
  • Lungs
  • Bowel
  • Muscles
  • Joints
  • Brain

When it comes to food and drink allergies, you could exclude the foods/drinks which you believe are causing the allergy. Although this doesn’t seem difficult to do, you could avoid foods based on incomplete information about potential food and therefore it is always worth seeking professional advice. If you visit a registered therapist and having the muscle test you could then adjust your diet according to factual information.
