Simplyhealth now focus their business on the health cash plan market for both individuals and company schemes. A cash plan is an affordable policy giving cash back on everyday healthcare costs such as dental, optical and therapies treatments.
Individual cash plans and dental cover:
The individual cash plan from Simplyhealth is available to people who are resident in the UK and are between the ages of 18 -79. The policy has 4 levels of cover available.
The individual dental plan from Simplyhealth is also available to people who are resident in the UK and are between the ages of 18-79. Cosmetic dentistry is not covered under this plan.
Company cash plans and dental cover:
For companies with 3+ employees Simplyhealth offer their corporate health plan called Optimise, offering six levels of cover helping employees pay for their everyday healthcare costs. The Optimise health plan also provides a number of optional choices that can be added for an additional cost including, PMI excess cover and Up to 6 face to face counselling sessions which can be accessed via their myWellbeing platform.
They also offer three Dental plans, each under the Denplan name, allowing employees to claim money back on a number of dental treatments. Denplan from Simplyhealth also won the Best Dental Benefits Provider at the 2019 Health Insurance & Protection Awards.
