When you have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness, your local hospice can offer you so much more than you may realise.

Hospice’s can provide care for you at home or as an in-patient. Specially trained staff can help you both on a practical basis and offering support to you and your family.

You may automatically associate a hospice with end of life cancer treatment however, they really do offer so much more.

A hospice is often run as a charity. They rely heavily on fundraising to enable them to provide high levels of patient care and family support.

Bereavement support is also available to help you to come to terms with the loss of your loved one.

When you are facing the doubt and uncertainty that a terminal illness brings, your local hospice will be there to provide you with the help, care and support that will ensure you are not facing it all alone.
